ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT (EIA) FOR THE PROPOSED GRAVEL
MINING AT THAMAGA/DIPHEPHE LANDS BY KAP CAF HOLDINGS (PTY) LTD
In fulfilment of Section 7, Subsection 2 of the Environmental Assessment Act, Cap 65:07, notice is hereby given for the intent to undertake an Environmental Impact Assessment Study with respect to the proposed gravel mining at Thamaga/ Diphephe by Kap Caf Holdings (Pty) Ltd. Kap Caf Holdings (Pty) Ltd has been leased a portion of 0.03km2 within a ploughing field of approximately 6.115 Hectares (ha) of the ploughing field belonging to Ms Onkabetse Molefane in Thamaga/Diphephe Lands. The portion has been leased for gravel mining development.

This notice serves to invite the public and all interested and affected parties to a Consultative Meeting to be held at the Thokwane Kgotla in Thamaga on the 9th of December 2024 at 0900hrs. The purpose of the meeting is to inform and solicit the views and concerns of the community and all other interested and affected parties on the implementation of the intended project to be undertaken by Kap Caf Holdings (Pty) Ltd.
