The Ostriches conceded in the dying embers of the game as the home side struck late to claim maximum points through Almamy Fall. With four matches played in the group stages, Orapa is yet to register a win. The Botswana outfit has two losses and two draws, which has left the team rooted at the bottom of the group with just two points.

To get out of the murky waters the mining town side must win the remaining two games whilst hoping their competitors drop points. Not only do the Ostriches need six points from the two games, but the side also need to improve their goal difference from minus seven to stand a good chance of advancing to the next round. Orapa host table toppers USM Alger who defeated the local side by 6-0 in the first round. It is a do-or-die encounter for the Ostriches if they want to stay in the competition. Orapa will host USM Alger at the Obed Itani Chilume Stadium on Sunday at 3pm. The Botswana side wrapped up their campaign away to Asec Mimosas in Ivory Coast on January 19.
