He says that when he made the decision to move he wanted to follow his passion as a musician, face challenges, smell a breakthrough and he is slowly but surely getting that in North America.

Trinity's recent gig was his performance at the Toronto Africa Fashion Week in August where Batswana designers Black Trash were guest designers.  Some of his gigs include The African Entertainment Awards, The Africa Night in Hamilton City and Immigrants and Cultural Arts Galla dinner among others.

Trinity says that invitations usually come his way after promoters or event managers spot him performing.

He says that he got his invite to perform at the Toronto Africa Fashion Week after he performed at the Afro Festival that is an annual African International Music Festival that features different musicians from different parts of Africa.

The artist says that so far his experience has been exciting but challenging at the same time.  He says: 'It's been challenging to break through in the music industry here. Trying to sell a different concept to people can sometimes take a while.'

He added that despite that, Canada is a multicultural nation and the people are welcoming and appreciate African music.

Trinity, who has one album Theohang, says that he is busy working on a new album though he cannot state when it will be released.  He adds that he does not know how long he will stay in Canada but aims to grow beyond where he is now.

Apart from his music, the Economics graduate from the University of Botswana says that he will soon be starting his Two-year Masters in Marketing.
