Kast insists he is back to reclaim his spot at the top of the hip-hop charts.  The 16-track album, titled King, is set to hit the shelves soon. Kast told Showbiz recently, that he named his new album King as he felt the name was fitting for him at the moment.

'After all my achievements in this sour industry, the fact that I am one of the highest selling local hip pop artist and also the fact that I was the first artist to have a motswako album back in 2003. I can confidently say I deserve to be called king,' he boasted.

He further mentioned that although this was his fourth album, he considers this album his best work thus far as he worked with various producers and artists on it,  'I have worked with good producers like Guetos, Qbio and MRV to name a few and to add on to that I have featured other well known hip pop giants like SCAR, Orackle and Apollo so this album is a hit as it has the best of the best on it,' he says.

Fans will be treated to a night of hip pop music on 2 November  at the Game City Roof Terrace, as Kast will be launching his album. Not only will they get to enjoy the young crooner's latest music, they will also get the chance to see two of South Africa's biggest hip pop artists performing live.

AKA and Da Les are award-winning emcees that have made a mark in SA and are currently two of the biggest trending artists.

'I decided to bring these guys simply because I see myself in them, they are two of the best hip pop artists in SA just as I am one of the best here. Their music is loved and adored by many and they do magic when on stage so I want Batswana to experience this at my launch,' he said.

Kast says already people are showing support and love for his songs. The songs are currently receiving massive airplay on local radio stations.

'People love the song, Dumachale, this name is Indian and in our language it means being care-free. The way I did this song is pretty amazing as it's a fusion of dance music, kwaito and hip pop and it is a love song,' he said.  The other songs that are currently making a buzz are Boogie Down People (B.D.P) and Botswana (BW) Party, which are feel good dance songs.
