Giant killers: Killer Giants are above their Saturday opponents on the log

Both teams once tasted the elite league and Mogoditshane Fighters'Coach Enos Mmesi once coached Killer Giants.

Killer Giants would want to prove that they had a reason to fire him, Mmesi would also go out there to prove them wrong.

The Ramotswa based side under coaches Roland Dlamini and Itumeleng Tummie Duicker sit in third spot with six points from three games.  Their opponents from Mogoditshane are in position six with five points from three games, after drawing two and winning one against Buffaloes last weekend.

Giants, though on top of Fighters go into the game as underdogs after being wounded by Modipane United in a 1-0 reversal last Saturday.

Fighters, who have declared their intention to return to the be MOBILE Premier League will be on serious guard to evade any kind of surprise from Giants who can pull a win under their feet. Though Giants lost their last game, Mmesi knows that they have started the season well by winning the first two games.

Mmesi has warned his players against the habit of taking small teams for granted, arguing that this is something that usually costs them points.

In Tlokweng at the VDC ground, Black Peril welcome struggling Mochudi Buffaloes, and their encounter will also be interesting to watch, as both teams have played three games, but are yet to win a game after their poor showing. Buffaloes who played well last season, find themselves in position 11 with only one point. To underline their poor form, Buffaloes lost against rookies Black Forest from Mmankgodi.

Peril who are just one position above Buffaloes, are expected to use home advantage and humiliate their visitors in front of their supporters. In other fixtures on Saturday, Masitaoka welcome Prisons XI in Molepolole, Ghanzi Terrors visit Letlapeng in Ramotswa at Siga grounds, Modipane United welcome Black Forest at Modipane ground, while Rolling Boys visit Jwaneng Comets at Galaxy Stadium in Jwaneng. All the games start at 4:00 pm.
