Tshosane was dismissed as Zebras coach on October 2, 2013, shortly after undergoing a knee operation. He has refused to field questions regarding his future, appealing for time to recuperate from his knee operation. This week, South African media reports linked him with the vacant Polokwane City job. The South African Premiership rookies are looking for a coach after parting ways with Duncan Lechesa.

However, Tshosane said he is not in a position to discuss the Polokwane City speculation or anything related to football.'My doctor has advised me to focus on recovering from my knee operation. At the moment I would not want to talk about football,' he said.

The Polokwane side was this week expected to name its new coach. Tshosane, though, is not the frontrunner for the job with several South African names being thrown around. Before signing a contract extension with the Botswana Football Association (BFA) in 2012, Tshosane had attracted the interest of South African clubs, notably Platinum Stars and Santos. But before he could worry about his future, Tshosane is widely expected to challenge the BFA's decision to pay him only three months salary as part of  his exit package.
