“It’s funny because a lot of people think I am inspired by A.T.I but I am not although I think we have something in common like our energy on stage is on another level but I would like to believe that I have my own attitude and style,” she says.

She points out that this attitude has two sides – the girly and the gangster.  CiCi told Showbiz that what she displayed on Friday was the gangster side, which people love.

“Just as my name means charisma, when I perform I show that charismatic feature in me.  My performances are always wild, freaky, outstanding and always leave people with questions but mostly begging for more,” she says. She says she was born to entertain.  She is currently pursuing a degree in Performing Arts at the University of Botswana.  She has performed in South Africa where she featured in DJ Lemonka’s album.

“I performed to a huge crowd in Pretoria recently and also in Johannesburg. I was singing my single called Another Level and the response and love I got from the audience even shocked me,” she says.  Her latest song is Prr Phaa. CiCi says that when she recorded the song, she wanted to show people what she is capable of. She says the song enables her to show her powerful dances, her modelling talent, acting skills and her poetry.  “It is a type of a song that demands attention and keeps people glued to you till the end and I know a lot of people are now demanding that I release my album, but I just want them to know that I am patiently working on a winner that will blow them away,” she says.

Currently with Makepampiri Record Label, CiCi is set to release an album early next year.

Her defining moment in music thus far is her second finish in the HUB Music series.

“I also featured on the SA hip pop magazine, Hype compilation disc last year and also being the first female to feature on Lemonka’s Motswako Tape 2 album,” she says.

She describes herself as a passionate, hard working and patient person who believes that where there is a will there is a way.

“Music for me is an informal way of learning and passing on a message which is applicable to all people,” she says.
