Most Gifted Male Video goes to Zeus

Zeus could not contain his excitement after his win at the 10th Annual Channel O Africa Music Video Awards that were held in Soweto, South Africa. His video Dats Wasup featuring AKA and Tumi scooped the Most Gifted Male Video award.  When taking to the stage Zeus announced to his victory to his fans stating, 'We won'.

During his performance on Saturday, Zeus could not stop thanking his fans for supporting him. His entire performance was filled with joyous moments of singing some of his hits including Imagination. 

Imagination took fans down memory lane to a time when Zeus was working hard to penetrate the music industry. He also performed the track from his winning video, Dats Wasup.  A rapper, who has come of age, Zeus is no stranger to winning at the Channel O awards.  In 2009 he emerged victorious at the awards under the Best Hip Hop Video Gijima.  He has also been nominated before for Imagination under the Best Reggae Dancehall category that put him on the map in 2008.  He received another nomination in 2010 for Champagne Music, as well as in 2012 for his song Dancing Shoes.

To date Zeus has released two albums, Freshly Baked in 2008, and Flipside in 2009.  He also released a mixtape Honey I'm Home that was released in 2012.  His new album African Time will be launched on Friday at Masa Centre rooftop. The single Ma Afrika from the same album has been released and the video has been airing on Channel O.

The album features a number of artists including AKA, Tumi, Kwela Tebza and Mahotella Queens among others.
