Rollers and GU now meet for the third successive time in the semi-finals of the competition. The first time, Rollers knocked GU out and went on to win the tournament. Last year GU had sweet revenge against their rivals on the way to winning the prestigious title. Both sides are on a recovery path after going through some rough patches this season, hence the clash between them promises to be very interesting.

In the other duel, BDF XI who lost to GU in the final last year have a slight advantage over Nico. Both sides are desperate to win something after doing relatively well last season in the league.  Meanwhile the be MOBILE Premier League continues this weekend with Lobatse giants, Extension Gunners hosting Nico tomorrow at the New Lobatse Stadium.

The two sides meet for the second time in a week at the same venue, having locked horns last Saturday in the second leg of the Mascom Top Eight quarter-final.

Gunners won 2-1 but lost on away goals rule as Nico led 1-0 from the first leg. Both sides are under the tutelage of new coaches who are still trying to get to know their players. Gunners have hired Mike Sithole who replaced China Matlhaku while Kenneth Mogae took over from Elijah Chikwanda at Nico recently. Topo Piet and Gift Moyo remain Nico’s key men while Gunners will pin their hopes on Monageng Thaele and Bogosi Nfila.

In the other games played tomorrow, Mochudi Centre Chiefs will take on ECCO City Greens at Molepolole Sports Complex. Chiefs who have been going through a rough patch have been toppled from the top of the log where BDF XI and Rollers now rule the roost. ECCO on the other hand have been blowing hot and cold.  Wonder Sporting host Motlakase Power Dynamos at SSKB Stadium while TAFIC meet Notwane in Francistown.

Tonight, Rollers take on Miscellaneous at UB Stadium while GU take on FC Satmos in Molepolole. BDF XI welcome Orapa United at SSKB Stadium on Sunday as Uniao Flamengo Santos host BMC in Molepolole.
