Last stop with 'Ya Ncharger Back2lala'

Under the theme, ‘Ya Ncharger Back2lala’, the organisers promise yet another spectacular showcasing.  According to founder Taolo Entaile, they choose this theme specifically to suit the youth who can relate to it.

“It is catchy and makes one leave whatever they are doing at the moment to come party with us and get charged with lots of fun,” he said.  Entaile added that they would be travelling to Tonota, Maun, Francistown, Serowe, Mochudi, Kanye, Ramotswa and Moshupa to reach out to people who would not be able to make it to the main event in Gaborone.

“We want to increase the brand by inspiring communities.  We want people know about us,” he said. He pointed out that they did not limit themselves by focusing only on entertainment, but also on seeking new ways that will build and promote the Bak2Skul outdoor lifestyle.

“This year we celebrate 11 years of Bak2Skul.  We have planned a few activities that will mark this great milestone with inspirational and unforgettable moments,” said Entaile.

Some of the activities scheduled as part of this initiative are the ‘Tlhoba Polo’.  This is a VW Polo competition whereby a lucky Bak2Skul loyal ‘student’ will walk away with a brand new car.

Knowing that many people will be broke in January the organisers also included the ‘Nchonolle Hoo SMS Competition’ for entrants.

Every week for the whole of January one person stands a chance of winning P1,000 cash. The competition will be activated on January 1 and will end on the 31st.

He also advised attendees to leave their cars at home as they will be provided with free transportation to and from Gaborone North where the event will be held.

This he mentioned is to avoid drunken driving incidents that may lead to fatal road accidents. The line up for the event features some of the artists that have made their mark this year including the likes of Team Distant, Crispin the Drummer, La Timmy, Ski, NT Base, Ricky Lamar, Kops, Colastraw, Zoo, Gouveia, O’Neal, T-Izzy, Phouboy, Maths and Strighty house bound.

International acts are Heavy K, Ganyane, Shoota, Tebza the free fun, Redds and Pozzino from Lesotho.  The dress code is strictly Physical Education clothing.

To be prepared for any weather surprises, Entaile assured that they will have prepared the venue in advance in case it rains.

“We will set up umbrellas, raincoats and temporary easy to pitch tents in strategic places at the venue.  We will also be using high standard stage equipment that is also waterproof to ensure that the party goes on without interruption,” he said.
