Potential poser for BMC, Ohilwe

However, the club is yet to approach BMC for the player’s services and the Gaborone side has declared they will not release him unless his suitors table a good offer. BMC manager, Nelson Radijeng said it would be folly to release the player to a club that has not communicated in a professional manner. Radijeng said the player’s word was not enough to merit his release.

“We are yet to receive communication from the club in Vietnam although his agent told us they were interested in signing him.

He tells us they want him to report (for training) on the 4th of January, (but) we will not release him to any team that has not officially approached us,” Radijeng told Mmegi Sport.

Nthoiwa was in Botswana three weeks ago and met BMC officials who were unhappy that his player left for Vietnam without their consent. Nthoiwa apologised and told them the player had impressed the Vietnam side. But, Nthoiwa is yet to communicate with BMC.

“The team has shown interest, according to Musa and his agent, who had said they will write to validate (their interest).  The agent has since left for Slovakia and has not communicated with us regarding the Vietnam deal,” Radijeng added.   Meanwhile, Ohilwe started training with BMC this week and was scheduled to feature in the be MOBILE Premier League game against Wonder Sporting yesterday (Thursday). “He started training with the rest of the guys this week,” confirmed Radijeng.

On a separate issue, Radijeng said they were unhappy with the league’s decision to take their game to Molepolole Stadium when they had requested to use Lobatse Stadium on Wednesday.

He said the request to play at Lobatse on Wednesday was made in consideration of the fact that they had a fixture in Francistown this weekend.

Radijeng said it would have made sense to play on Wednesday and then rest before visiting TAFIC on Saturday. “We admit stadiums are not readily available but when we request what is convenient to us we should be listened to and supported.  We will play TAFIC without having rested,” he said.
