Of lovebirds, chargrin and knockouts

Many so-called analysts seem to be of the opinion the hook-up between Tanzania's Feza Kessy and O'Neal Zibanani Madumo was just part of a strategy to win the prize money.   With the cameras long gone it seems the two lovebirds are smitten with each other.

Since leaving the house Feza has graced Botswana quite a few times.  Her first visit was in August.  The makoti, as those who support the pairing would refer to her, decided to stay in Botswana for quite some time.  Ever since, Feza has come to Botswana quite a few times.

The musician from Tanzania was seen with her man in arm at the botched Beach Party, recently held at Lion Park recently.

Do I hear wedding bells?  In quite a few interviews the lovebirds have hinted the possibility of someday getting married.  All the best to the lovebirds.

Has Botswana turned into a ‘love nest’?  Feza is not the only one who frequented Botswana in 2013.  Generations’ MJ aka Naak MusiQ (real name: Anga Makubalo), is reported to have found love in Botswana.

The multi-talented young man is not only an actor and singer, but he is also a model and television presenter.  MJ or rather Naak MusiQ has had quite a number of performances across the country, since early January.

News of Naak MusiQ finding love in Botswana went public in October, with the name of his love interest being revealed as Roselyn April.  Apparently during one of his visits, young women who went to see the celebrity off at the airport were disappointed to see a ‘hottie’ by the hunk’s side.  Goodluck to Roselyn and Naak MusiQ.

While some found love others had what would be deemed as rather embarrassing incidents.  Popular South African gospel singer, Sechaba Padi returned to South Africa recently after being turned away at the gates of Duma fm grounds.  He had to rely on the goodwill of friends for accommodation after a show he was supposed to perform at failed to materialise.

The show, organised by Namasiku Samunzala, was cancelled because the promoter had allegedly not paid for the venue.  Fans had to be turned away at the locked gates.

Generally known as a peaceful country, there was yet another event which hit the airwaves both locally and in the neighbouring South Africa.  Former Generations actress Rosie Motene went back to SA with a broken nose, following an altercation at one of Gaborone’s popular nightspots.

Motene gave interviews to a number of newspapers upon her return.

The issue was a complicated one as the man accused to have allegedly assaulted the star disputed the claims. Bissau Gaobakwe later commented on that events that had taken place on the night in his own defence.
