Odirile 'Vee' Sento is one from the lot that gave thrilling performances in the dying days of 2013.

His Supernatural Vol. 1 album tour reached places like Maun, Gantsi, Hukuntsi and Tutume.  He kept crowds moving to the title track Eita and Baba, which has been dubbed as the song of 2013 festive season.

Vee could not contain his excitement over the success of the shows.

'It was simply amazing, the crowds couldn't contain themselves. They were moving and were very excited,' he said.

Team Distant also did not fail to impress when they represented Botswana at the Harvest fm 10th Anniversary in Lesotho performing alongside locals Ndingo Johwa and Machesa.

Team Distant manager, Kgolagano Entaile, said the group gave a performance to remember at their first appearance in Lesotho.

He said that the crowd responded very well and that they are most likely to have another go at Lesotho in the near future.

He also added that locally the group was fully booked for various events.

'The Bak2lala tour was a crowd puller for us. We worked on the anthem remix Rraagwe Tinah, which our fans loved when we performed at Maun, Serowe, Kanye amongst others places,' Entaile said.

Entaile also mentioned that the group was chosen as brand ambassador for a French clothing line Feiyue.

The Back-2-Skul (Bak2lala) show was a success celebrating its 11th year. The show has grown over the years attracting fans from South Africa.

The Homecoming Concert also did not disappoint. This time around it was bigger as it saw attendees from as far as Lobatse, Gaborone and Serowe travel all the way to Mahalapye and back.

The concert, which has grown since it started seven years ago had artists including DJ Chrispin the Drummer, Ricky Lamar, DJ Kells and Mosako on the bill. Mosako's performance, the biggest of the night, followed a very successful deal with Shota Music in South Africa.

Mosako is said to have shot a music video during the night when he performed the festival anthem.

'We are very happy because the show was a great success like always.  We are now awaiting the screening of the video that will show people the magnitude of the concert,' Easy-B, the concert founder and organiser said.

The Mascom Boosta Bash and the Annual Beach Party were also successful despite attracting negative publicity.  DJ La Timmy's Nanzala Vuke was also one of the favourites keeping crowds on the dance floors.
