Motamma who represented the country at last year's Big Brother Africa (BBA) edition is signed with Basement Records.
Although there was no knowledge of the 26-year-old's singing talent, Motamma is quick to point out that she is a woman of many gifts.
'I am still yet to shock people because there is more to me than meets the eye,' she said.
Motamma told Showbiz that she grew up singing at school and in church.
'I always used to lead musical events. I was known as 'that girl who was good in singing', so I always had it in me. I decided to give my singing priority this year. I feel once a person eliminates that element of fear then they are at a stage where they explore different things and that is where I am currently at right now,' she said.
Record label manager and founder Bokang Proctor mentioned that working with Motamma has so far proven to be the best decision he has made recently.
He said that she is very cooperative, determined, artistic and passionate about her singing career.
'As a professional production and recording studio we try to work with people who we can see and share the same vision as us.
We want people who are hungry for success and will work hard and tirelessly to achieve their life's dream, but most importantly people who are very talented and Motamma is one such person,' he said.
He further mentioned that they have just completed a radio single that is about to hit the airwaves. In this single, Motamma showcases her ability to fuse Dance and House music with RnB.
'The single is going to blow many away. .I am pretty sure that everyone is aware of Motamma's bubbly personality. Now picture her on stage singing, it is going to be amazing,' he said.
Proctor said that they are doing trial project with Motamma as this is her first experience in the studio.
He said that the record label wanted to give her a try seeing that her enthusiasm and passion for singing could not be ignored.
Basement Records has been affiliated with some of the country's successful musicians including the likes of Vee, Eugene Jackson, Juju Boy, THABO, Steez and HT.
The label has also done work for other musicians who have made a tremendous mark in the music industry such as Zeus, Stampore, Maxy, SCAR, Mosako, Euri, Lizibo and former BBA contestant O'Neal.
