Those 'unhallowed' human herbivores

Instructed by Pastor Lesego Daniel, the founder and proprietor of Rabboni Ministries, the worshipers did not hesitate to have a go at 'cows' menu. As always in such puzzling matters, it was mostly women who rose to the occasion by going on all fours to munch on sward.
I was challenged to pen a few lines after investigating the matter from a biblical perspective. The Bible records a peculiar grass-eating episode by Babylonian King Nebuchadnezzer who subdued the nation of Judah (Israel) in the Old Testament.
This came as an act of judgment by God upon the rebellious king. But humans were clearly not meant to eat grass and their metabolic design is thrown into disarray when such fibres are introduced into the system. According to medical expects, humans can only digest one type of grass that is known as ray grass.
In the Book of Isaiah (Chapter 65: verse 25), there is a prophetic announcement of what the future will look like at the time of the 1000 years rule of Christ on earth. 'The lion will eat straw like the ox,' it says. The piece of Scripture refers to a time of absolute peace when Christ will reign on earth. This will only happen after the final judgment.
Therefore, grass-eating by humans can only be viewed as an act of punishment from God for those who deviate from His word and truth. People have become so desperate to a point of demeaning their own persons. And why is there so much desperation that people should become herbivorous?
Are churches no longer viewed as places of worship where the worshiper meets God? Have they reduced to places of miracles where people have their needs met? People no longer go to church to hear from God and His Word in the Bible.
The Word of God has now become secondary and has been replaced with miracles. Preachers who emphasise only on studying and living suffer loss of followers who migrate from church to church in search of miracles.
Because miracles seem to be the greatest motivation for worshipers, a growing number of preachers have abandoned the truth and feed their congregants anything that 'sells.' The marketplace of the-called 'fire churches' is congested because they are reportedly 'innovative.' It is my strongly-held view that it is the responsibility of every democratic government to protect its citizens from such marauding wolves in sheepskin.
Speaking to Moeng Pheto when he was still the Minister of Home Affairs, the ministry responsible for registering churches, he indicated that the government had very little leverage in weeding out these undesirable elements from our society. According to him, the problem lies in Batswana who front for these bogus expatriates and present them as their legitimate spiritual leaders.
