t was evident that Gaborone nightlife blissed-out at Dros on Friday. Situated at Molapo Crossing Mall, the bar and restaurant surely was packed with patrons from all walks of life to have a night to remember.
It seemed like people got the memo to come dressed smart as each impressed in their own wear. Their getups complemented the ambiance at Dros.
Three disc jockeys did what they do best to keep people on their toes. Raising the curtain was none other than the famous DJ Kuchi who is famous for his knack on the decks. The talented DJ managed to drag night crawlers out of their chairs and into the dance floor playing one of the most liked tunes, Wajukuja by Oskido and Uhuru.
Following him was RnB DJ Scratch. Upon stepping onto the stage he was an instant hit with the women-folk. Playing soothing sounds, everyone could see why they just love Scratch. DJ Blonde picked up where Scratch left off playing house oldies and mixing them with the latest house tunes. He surely impressed people. Towards the end of the night, Kuchi took to the stage and closed the set in his own Kuchi way. Not only were people treated to good music but they were also treated to delicious kinds of food keep hunger at bay. The menu included different kinds of pizza, desert, seafood and ribs and rump at affordable prices.
Speaking to the operations manager, Alvin Naidoo mentioned that ever since May last year, business has been impressive.
'People are always coming in large numbers, I suppose they enjoy our services and the food.
The place is always packed, especially from Thursday to Sunday and all this is good for business,' he said.
He then added that since Valentine's Day is around the corner, they are planning something big for their customers who will come and enjoy the day with them. 'We are thinking of giving them packages for couples that will show up here as a way of showing appreciation to them,' he said.
