A
fro pop sensation Eugene Jackson seems to be back with a bang with the dropping of a hot single. The talented lad has been pursuing his studies in music at the Central Johannesburg College, but is now back on the music scene. His album is being brewed at Basement Records, managed by his friend,  BK Proctor.
Eugene's maturity in music production is demonstrated in his latest offering 'Intshwarele'. The single is from his upcoming album, which he is currently working on at Basement Studios
'Intshwarele' captures his best as one of Botswana'sleading live performers and the production on this song is executed perfectly. On this song Eugene said he is earnestly apologising to the love of his life for having gone astray and losing direction.
Speaking to ShowTime recently, Eugene said that his stint in South Africa has taught him a lot about music and being an artist and when he made this song, he used all the education he learnt to make a master piece.
'The song brings about a warmth and an added feel that is completely different from the person my fans here used to know, I have grown and hopefully this maturity my fans will love and appreciate,' he said.
He added that the upcoming album would showcase how diverse he can be and as he continues to work with Botswana's most gifted producer BK Proctor of Basement Records. Some of the production is to be done in South Africa and will include features from International artists.
'My album is yet to shock people because I have decided to include other African artists because I believe working together can bring about hits that can be enjoyed by people all over,' he said.
With school now behind him he added that he is set on broadening his brand and exploring a few horizons in South Africa.
He said, 'Botswana will always be home and as much as I stay in South Africa now I spend most of my time doing projects here at home, my recent being chosen as the KFC ADD HOPE Brand Ambassador, which is a thrill to have to work with such a great brand in a project that reaches out to the less privileged kids.
I hope Batswana receive 'Intshwarele' the same way they have received my other projects. I have a management team working on my brand now and I'm feeling really blessed'
