The single, titled All Falls Down comes barely months after he released another electro single featuring one of Botswana’s versatile artists A.T.I. The new single has been a long time in the making.
DJ Kuchi said he created the instrumental a few years ago, and later sought out RJ Benjamin to be the vocalist and songwriter for the track.
He explained that after working with RJ Benjamin he thought about adding another dimension to the track. He decided to approach one of the best lyricists, Proverb as DJ Kuchi felt they could benefit from the rapper’s flair.
All Falls Down is a chilled electro-cum-house track with simple and powerful keys.
DJ Kuchi said he has collaborated with RJ Benjamin in the past. Both RJ Benjamin and Proverb are highly celebrated in the South African music industry.
RJ Benjamin is part of the SA Idols, while Proverb on the other hand is a presenter for the very same show.
Featuring RJ Benjamin and Proverb can only mean success for the local DJ, as he will be introduced to a wider audience.
Meanwhile the track All Falls Down is already making waves both locally and internationally. It was performed during last year’s season finale of SA Idols and Showtime also learnt that the track is currently in YFM’s Top 40 list.
DJ Kuchi has shared the stage with DJ Fresh, Euphonik, Black Coffee.
“I am very proud of the achievements I have made in music, especially because music is something I am passionate about. I love working with different artists because it adds diversity to the music and it is exciting. I look forward to a long career in music and I am grateful for all the support I have,” said Kuchi.
Fans can be sure to look out for more to come from the seemly ambitious DJ. He is currently working on his much anticipated debut album, which will be released later in the year. He attributed the delay of the album to perfecting his craft before delivering it to the world.
