Only his face was visible as the rest of the body was covered in a spotted black costume that spread all over the stage as it took a large volcanic appearance.
Both presenters of the Flava Dome programme, Sadi and Loungo could not help, but shower the extremely talented performer with praises for his invention that made watching the show that night, a refreshing experience.
As he performed his song he danced in a way that made the volcanic inspired outfit seem big.
Speaking to Showtime, ATI pointed out that he did not mean to scare people with the performance and his costume, but rather was only trying to be creative like he always does when performing.
“If people think that was satanic then I wonder what they were going to say if I came with animals on stage or other scary objects. People need to get used to ATI because he is different and unique,” he said.
ATI then added that this is only the beginning as he is yet going to shock people. “My next album is going to be out of this world and my fans are going to love me more. I love being different and giving people something to talk about,” he said
He mentioned that it is always his intention to leave a mark on people when he performs so that they can always remember him.
“People always say Iam satanic and I am sure they are going to get tired of it because it is not true. I am an artist who likes to entertain and if my fans are happy then I am happy,” he said
ATI further said that people should also focus on the message of the song rather than his outfits. He said the song is about love or rather lack of it in a relationship. He said the song sums up his entire love life experience.
“I have been single and the only real love I experienced was years back but I know how love sometimes gets lost among partners so O tsididi means the cold love that sometimes dies,” he said.
