Sejake to perform in Gaborone

The event titled A Blissful Night Of Praise is expected to attract not only churchgoers but also members of the public.
The organisor of the event Chris Moiketsi said the purpose of the event is to raise funds for the church as well as to expose the church’s praise and worship team to the public.
“The praise and worship team will be recording its first live album sometime in October. So we want the public to know about them and see their potential before the album comes out,” he said.
He added that another reason for this amazing night is to get Christ’s followers to enjoy the presence of God as they praise and worship in the winter season.
He explained that they decided to bring Sejake as the church has a standing relationship with him.
“It makes it easy for us to work with him. He is helping the church and thus not charging us any amount. The church always appreciates his help unlike other artists who would want to be paid to do God’s work,” he said.
He added that their relationship with Sejake dates back to 2008 when he groomed the church’s Tlokweng AFM Mass Choir.
“He first did a live performance in Botswana when the church invited him for a dinner themed Joyous Banquet, in 2008. As the praise team will be engaging in a live recording, an experienced muso like Sejake will be able to groom the team in preparation for this upcoming project,” he said.
He added that Sejake is an “anointed, appointed, gifted and holy ghost-filled worshipper” who has a voice like no other and a spirit that will take anyone into worship with him in seven different languages.
He said the show will feature other groups including, Transfiguration, Alan-K and the AFM Tlokweng Mass Choir.
Sejake has recorded hit songs with Joyous Celebration, which include, Morena Ke O Tshepile, O Holy Spirit, O Mohau. He currently has two albums under his belt, Yekubuhle and William Sejake Live Volume One
