of artists performing at his wedding and I readily agreed,” said DJ King adding that he was greatly humbled to be recognised
by an artist of Vee’s calibre. The wedding was not the only Gaborone gig the DJ has performed at. Last year, he performed
at St Louis Summer Festival at Wharic Park.
“It’s not everyday that one gets the chance to perform alongside the likes of Brandy because she is an international
star and I would say the show was one of the highlights of my career,” he said.

“This slot on RB2 has given me exposure as a DJ. My fans have been asking me when will I recording
I am happy to announce that I am working on a single that I hope to drop in October,” said the 26-year-old.
DJ King is also instrumental in helping with the art of deejaying. He is also part of the team that organises the annual Serowe Battle of the DJs.
“This year, the show is returning bigger and better as we have approached a number of potential sponsors and we hope to have attractive prizes for our eventual winners,” he said, adding that like always, the show will be held during the Botswana Independence holidays in September.
The enterprising DJ runs his own entertainment compay called King’s Multimedia, which specialises in deejaying and video shooting.
