Speaking to Arts & Culture, the excited rapper mentioned that he is grateful he was invited to perform at the event. He said that he got into partnership with a record label in Namibia called Roceez Sounds.
“This partnership will enable me to brand myself in Namibia and other countries. I feel it is time I take my legacy to other countries so that they see that Batswana also have talent that needs to be recognised, but mostly be appreciated because we are very talented,” he said.
ATI added that ever since his performance at Big Brother Africa, most countries have been inviting him to perform in their countries.
“They saw what effect I have on the crowd and how magical I can get when on stage and all this was further cemented by my latest single O Tsididi, which has somehow become a hit in neighbouring countries,” he said.
He added that the song has managed to capture people’s hearts as the creativity he displays while performing is amazing.
“Sometimes I bring my choir to add a little spice to my performance and this makes the crowd fall madly in love with my music. I respect my fans and when they are happy I am happy because the music is for them,” he said.
He said the fire he brings when he is on stage is what he will be doing in Namibia. “I am going to sell my country there and although this is my first time performing there I am going to make sure that I leave a lasting impression so that the people there demand me back,” he said.
ATI,
however, said that he might be moving to South Africa (SA) soon as he has been offered a deal there. He explained that negotiations are still ongoing, saying that his trial (for an alleged kidnapping) is delaying the conclusion of the deal.
“There is a possibility I might go that side. The most important thing is to take my music all over the world and I feel SA is the best place to help me. I am grateful to all that God has done in my life and I thank all my fans,” he said.
