SA�s Nhlapo causes a storm in Botswana

Although the actor and model arrived late, he told Showbiz that he felt compelled to visit Botswana as he had to thank BBA supporters for their votes and support.

“Batswana voted for me and they showed me love.  I had to come here to thank them for that.  I saw this as the opportune time to do that.  Unfortunately I got lost on the way here that is why I arrived late,” he said.

Nhlapo who had brief a ‘romance’ with former beauty queen, Molelekwa came in third last Sunday at the BBA Hotshots finale with country votes from Botswana and South Africa.  Quizzed about their supposed relationship, Nhlapo told Showbiz, “If I were king, she would be the queen”. 

“She was the first girl I saw when I walked into that house,” he said.

“I was not using her for any country alliance.  Botswana and SA already have that alliance, I didn’t have to exploit that relationship,” he said.

Molelekwa also joined Nhlapo at his eviction party in South Africa on Saturday.  Tanzanian photographer and designer Idris Sultan won this year’s BBA.
