Tomeletso Sereetsi

Afro soul crooner Lizibo headlines the show that also includes rising folklore jazzman Tomeletso Sereetsi who trades as Sereetsi and The Natives.

Lizibo has proven over a few years of breaking into scene to be a real revelation with his ability to turn simple concepts into great musical compositions that earned him a legion of fans.

Music followers find him simply irresistible while fellow musicians hold him in high regard as demonstrated by the number of artists’ interest in collaborating with him.

Sereetsi, a talented journalist, poet and musician, is steadily building a reputation as a serious contender in the Afro-jazz circles.

Combining his acoustic guitar playing techniques and silky vocal skill, he has already mastered the art of getting the crowd behind him.  But more interesting is his pride in cultural music, which often makes his performance unique.

Apart from these two men, another group likely to stamp its authority is the Harmonic Angel trio, which is also creating waves with its brand of folk music.

Vocalist Mimi Moje’s linguistic power and traditional music dance skill often buttresses TeacoBouy Seitshiro and Bojosi Ntseane’s guitars to give a listener some soulful meaning to their songs. There will also be performances by Lindiwe Ramasa, Chanty Natural, Clyde Chisale, Kayzee, Bankrupt Souls, Mmakgosi, Masego Woki, Conscious Reggae Band, Lesego Radisweng, Jackson Radipitse, The Contrabanditz, Pho and Skit Kabomo. The show starts at 4 pm.
