A second half goal from a penalty by Masego Keboto was enough to give Rollers the vital points. The game started on a low note although Swallows seemed to be looking for an early goal.

Rollers soon got into the game with Bame Ngenda tormenting Swallows’ defence from the left.

Twenty minutes into the game, both teams reduced intensity and most of the ball was stuck in the midfield. On the half hour mark, Rollers Keboto almost scored from a counter attack, but her shot went wide after cutting into the box from the left side. The game went to half time with neither side finding the back of the net.

For a first half that did not evoke any spark, both teams came from the break very determined to find the back of the net. It was not long before Rollers won a penalty and Keboto converted to break the deadlock. She swiftly put the ball to the left side.  The girls from Kanye soon began to show signs of a comeback, but Rollers defender Nancy Baeletsi was too disciplined at the back. On the 70th minute, Ngenda could have equalised but the Rollers goalkeeper Aratwa Kesemang easily dealt with the threat.

Keranale followed with a shot from the left side, but Kesemang also easily saved it.
