The life changing decision brought Murray to Botswana. He told Showtime that he researched about peaceful countries in Africa and realised that Botswana was at the top of the list of the Global Index. Upon his arrival in Botswana, Murray fell in love with the country and has plans to stay amid his permit restrictions by the Botswana government.

The inspiration behind Murray’s relocation is because of his mom.  Murray explained that, “ My mission is to build a successful business empire and retire my mom.”  He revealed that Botswana makes him humane and at peace. 

Murray has already recorded a song, which is airing on Yarona FM.

The single, is called I’m Grinding. Tori Solomon & The Fast lane produced the beat and Rimzy of Rimzy Productions handled the vocals.  

“I’m Grinding is a real story of my journey to Botswana, an education of work ethic, portrayal of life in Atlanta, motivational lyrics and boast of my confidence all wrapped up in a truly southern heavy metal beat from Atlanta. There is a line in the first verse saying, ‘I dun walked through the CBD’ this is because he has literally walked by foot at Gaborone’s Central Business District looking for opportunity. 

This line correlates with another one on the second verse “grind so hard put a whole in the denim,” he said. 

Murray explained that he comes from a musical background. He said when growing up his parents only allowed to listen to gospel, jazz, and classical music.

He told Showtime that he does music to inform Africans about the true stories of being African in the USA. 

“We created hip-hop like slaves created soul food, from the scraps that was left for us,” he said. Besides being an entrepreneur and artist, Murray has started a modeling career, which was inspired by people being very genuine to him in Africa.  Since starting his modeling career, he has become the face of House of Kay Fashion, done photo shoots, did a paid advert for Barclay’s and now in SA he is working with G3 Models Agency, provided he gets proper permits in place.
