ATI teams up With Berry Heart

Rumor has been circulating around town that the two are an item, but they have squashed the “bedroom” radio mall gossip as they have been spending a lot of time in the studio.
Keotshepile Motseonageng, who uses the stage name Berry Heart told Showtime that the single would be released shortly after ATI’s Cassette release, scheduled for June 10. Berry Heart For Dinner is set to blow the local music industry away.
“The most exciting part is how the two artists were able to jointly come together in the song. I am known for my poetry and ATI his motswako style fused with rap; it was almost impossible for two people with different background like we do to collaborate, but we did and it worked out beautifully,” Berry Heart said, adding that the song was produced by Prez Beats.
She further said the combination of the two most controversial artists in Botswana was inevitable. “We come from two different worlds, but what connects us is our stage performance, the energy that ATI brings to his stage performances is what made me drawn to him,” Berry Heart explained.
“I see myself in ATI, he is like the male version of Berry heart, on stage that is, I cannot wait for the video shoot, we have so much planed,” the overjoyed Berry Heart revealed.
Asked why she decided to try something else, Berry Heart who raps in Sekgalagadi in the song said, “I wanted to step out of my comfort zone, we have been working together since the beginning of the year and we cannot wait to sample it out to the people. I also wanted to give my fans and followers a different side of me.”
When asked if the two were indeed an item, Berry Heart laughed off the rumors saying, “we have a professional relationship and it is a beautiful one.”
