No Charma Gal for Culture Spears?

Culture Spears are set to host charity shows at different venues around the country, but it is unlikely that Magdalene and Kabelo will share the stage because relations between the two are strained.
Magdalene who trades by the name Charma Gal as a solo act has been performing at various shows recently. Her latest performance was in Lobatse at the weekend where she performed at the victory celebration of the area’s Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) Member of Parliament, Sadique Kebonang.
The talented vocalist was coy about her participation in the tour when Showbiz contacted her to find out if she would be in the tour.
“What shows? Why not ask the person who put up that advert? Maybe you should talk to Kabelo because you normally talk to him about shows and stuff,” she said.
Efforts to get a comment from Kabelo were futile as his mobile phone was off at the time of going to press.
The group will perform at Paje’s Lekadiba Club on Friday before returning to Zebras Club in Mogoditshane for another show on Saturday.
They will perform at Dladleng Entertainment Centre in Moshupa on June 5 and wrap up the charity tour with a show at Palapye Community Hall the following day.
The tour party will include other artists like, Mmantshwabisi, Oscar, Vanstor, Swaggerlady, MC Mozara and DJ Kitola Muller. Twenty percent of the proceeds will be donated to charity.
Magdalene and Kabelo bashed each other in the local media recently, revealing how stormy their relationship has been over the years with Kabelo claiming that his wife has been unfaithful.
In a counterclaim, the Tlhatswa Lesire hitmaker also made similar assertions adding that her husband has been emotionally and verbally abusive.
