The former Miss Universe Botswana’s dream has always been to make it on the big screen and while a dancing extra role might not be that glamorous, she strongly feels it could provide the first step towards achieving her long cherished dream.
The feisty Molelekwa, who had a close “relationship” with South African housemate Nhlahla Nhlapo during her time in the Big Brother Africa house, has been spending a lot of time in the neighbouring country. High Rollers is a new drama series set to air on SABC 3 in the near future. After previously teasing that “several A-listers of South Africa’s stage and screen” will be seen on the show, SABC3 has now pierced the veil of secrecy, weeks before the show could go on air.
It has been reported that the series is set against the backdrop of the high stakes world of gambling and is said to give viewers a glimpse into the dark world of gambling, family drama and moral questions.
The former beauty has told Showbiz that she was also working on her first album, which will be released soon.
“I already have a few samples of my work on my up coming album, I am just putting on the finishing touches then it will be released to the world.
I will test the waters with a single of course,” she says.
Molelekwa, who was often teased as “boss lady” by her BBA housemates, has also clinched a deal as ambassador for Adora Belle hair collection.
