Miss Africa Unveils Top Models

The models were unveiled last Friday at Rail Park mall before a large audience.
After scouting for models in 10 cities, towns and villages around the country, the Miss Africa team finally found the talent and material they have been scouting for.
The models were introduced on the ramp as they cat walked to showoff their super model skills. They showed confidence and potential of being super models.
Clad in high heels models of different sizes, complexion and backgrounds paraded on the ramp as they walked to background music of Salif Keita.
The modes are yet to undergo a boot camp prior they take part in the fashion and cultural show that will be held on September 11 at Gaborone International Convention Centre (GICC).
The number of models will be trimmed to 15 at the fashion and cultural show. The final team will be finalists in the Miss Africa Botswana pageant that will be held on November 6. The winner of the pageant will contest against other models at the Miss Africa pageant finals that will be held in the country next year.
Speaking at the unveiling ceremony, Miss Africa chief executive officer Bruce Nkgakile stated that in the coming weeks his team will be travelling to different countries such as Ghana, Lesotho and Zimbabwe where they will be launching the pageant.
The prize money for the Miss Africa Botswana is yet to be announced. Six hundred tickets have already been booked for the pageant though not officially on sale.
