The club DJ has already toured places such as Thamaga, Kanye and Lobatse performing at different events and nightclubs. Earlier this year, after leaving Kosher Nights sessions, he said he planned to perform in different places as much as he can.
“I have been well-received in every place I have performed. So far, I can gather that I’ve left a positive mark. But sustaining my credibility, reach and influence is my priority right now. I intend to benchmark and continuously improve with each re-visit,” he said.
He told Showbiz that his intention is to leave a footprint nationwide, meet new people and entertain them with his performances.
He has managed to grab attention up north in the city of Francistown where he has been performing regularly in the past months.
The disc jockey who specialises in urban music such as Hip Hop and Ragga mentioned that he managed to grab the attention of people from different backgrounds because he plays versatile mixes.
He said: “They differ; from the genres of music, to dress code, to club attendance times and price sensitivity. Especially price sensitivity. Each place is so widespread, you have to come with all your ammunition if you want to make an impact”.
He recently spiced up his sets by introducing live visual mixes. He is working with a number of DJs such as Ricky Lamar, DJ Khenzo and DJ Anthem. His performances are well known for having vinyl scratching, something most DJs are no longer doing in their sets.
As part of the tour he is scheduled to perform in Jwaneng and Ghanzi this weekend. He will be performing alongside DJ Chrispin The Drummer.
He said he is planning an international tour, after completing the national one.
