Aregopoleng Gospel Boyz left the country last week to perform at the weeklong international event, which is still on going.  The gospel group consists of four members Kepadile Mantswenyane, Thato Andina, Kagiso Magano and Tumisang Kagiso Marumoagae

“A lot has happened.  We attended workshops where we learnt a lot of things. We also performed with the Stockholm mass,” one of the group members, Magano said.

Speaking to Showbiz from Stockholm, Magano said their dance moves were the talk of town as they impressed the audience and other performers to the extent that Zambian choir St Ignatius asked for a stage collaboration.

He said they choreographed two songs for the Zambian choir.

“People were so amazed by our dance moves they really wanted to know about them, some even attempted to do them.   It was an overall sensational feeling being there.  They even wanted to see us dance songs that were new to us.  Gerald T Smith a conductor from USA also called us onstage to dance to the song he was conducting in the mass choir and we did very well, even without rehearsing,” Magano said.

For their main performance Aregopoleng Gospel Boyz performed their song Sediba.  Magano said the audience sang along with excitement.

He said after their performance, musician Daniel D Jones from USA asked them to be part of his upcoming music video.

Last year they were invited to the same event, but the trip was unsuccessful.  Aregopoleng Gospel Boyz is currently working on their sophomore album.
