Minnows Highlanders caused a major upset in the second round of last season when they hammered the Gaborone giants 3-1 in a thrilling Friday encounter at tonight’s venue. The loss contributed immensely to Rollers’ league title loss to eventual winners, Mochudi Centre Chiefs. Harrison told Mmegi Sport  that he expects his side to grab all the three points. Rollers’ charge was jolted last week when they were held to a 1-1 draw by debutants Jwaneng Galaxy.

“We know that this game is going to be difficult, but my boys are prepared. We will go there with a fighting spirit and we hope to go back home with three points,” he said.

Harrison said despite last weekend’s setback against Galaxy, the mood was high in the camp and there are no injuries. He urged Rollers’ fans to be patient amid soaring expectations. The club made strong additions in the off-season.

“We know that people have great expectations from the team management and the players because of the new signings. That is understandable, the league has just started. This is a long season so fans should give us time, we shall improve game by game,” he said. Highlanders’ coach, Tebogo Mokute on the other hand is confident his team will compete well tonight.  “We know very well that Rollers will approach this game with an aim to revenge but we shall compete. Preparations have been going well and the mood is good as playing a team like Rollers is a motivation on its own,” said Mokute. He said there are no injuries in his camp and is banking on his defence to continue the good work thus far this season. Unfortunately, Stimela will be without their last season’s top goal scorer and Popa’s worst nightmare Emmanuel Thakadu who had since joined newcomers, Miscellaneous. Thakadu helped himself to a brace in the last meeting while Bryan Kobe weighed in with the other in the last meeting. Highlanders began the campaign badly, losing 5-0 to Mochudi Centre Chiefs before stabilising with a 0-0 draw against Miscellaneous and opening their account with a 2-0 win over rookies, Green Lovers.
