The exciting line-up has already been revealed and is set to feature up to 15 artists. Showbiz has exclusively been informed that out of the 15, only four will be the hottest trending artists in South Africa and the rest will be an all local line-up of hit-makers.
Already Casper Nyovest has been revealed as one of the international acts. Locally nominees for the coming Botswana Musician Unions (BOMU) awards, MMP family, controversial rapper ATI and DJ Ricky Lamer are the names which have been bandied about.
Marketing manager for Mainstream Brands, Mpho Motlhabani explained that the event, which was initially to be a yearly event, but had to be set down last year as St Louis at the time was going through a re-branding process. “The show is usually set for end of the year just as the summer season kicks off. Last year we had to set down the event because the beer (St Louis) was going through a re-branding exercise.
“This year the event is centred around the beer brand experience. We want patrons to understand and have a feel of the St Louis experience,” she said.
Motlhabani further said that although she does not want to let the cat out of the bag too early, there will be exciting games and competitions. The event has in the past hosted American singer, Brandy.
