Death toll at 7
A total of seven students have lost their lives. Five died on the spot while two were confirmed dead at the hospital.
126 are injured and hospitalised.
Total number of passengers who were in the truck is not yet known.
The students were rural dwellers and were returning to their various home settlements after writing their final Form 5 examinations at Matsha College in Kang where they were boarding.
Cause of accident
Police say initial investigations on the cause of the accident point to a tyre burst. The truck overturned after the tyre burst.
Time of accident: Around 2pm on Friday, November 13.
15 ambulences were sent to the scene.

Minister of Education Unity Dow visited those admitted at Princess Marina Hospital in Gaborone
