The main act of the festival, South African star, Black Coffee jumped on stage at 2 pm.
The St Louis brand manager, Mpho Motlhabane had in earlier interviews said they wanted to promote afternoon events, hence the decision to schedule the main act at that time.
Black Coffee opened his set with songs from his latest album, Pieces Of Me, and by noon, Gaborone Club was already half-packed, with Black Coffee the reason why many attended.
The star is currently topping the charts with his single We Dance Again.
The single was an instant hit on the Internet. After releasing the single, the musician introduced the We Dance Again challenge on the Internet, attracting a lot of attention from celebrities and socialites.

He streamed live the chart topping single for revellers who had climbed the stage to take the We Dance Again challenge.
He briefly joined revellers on stage to show his dancing skills.
He left shortly after his performance for another performance in his home country and that was after he went on social media to let his followers know that he had a good time in Botswana.
The show went on with performances from Sasa Klaas, Zeus, MMP Family, Vee, DJ Ricky Lamar and DJ Izzy amongst others.
Dramaboi proved to be the crowd’s favourite among the local acts. Attendants sang along to his songs including Utlwa, Bob Marley as well as Candy.
By night, other South African artists hit the stage, among them Busisiwa, Uhuru and Cassper Nyovest, all of whom did not particularly impress.
Cassper Nyovest recently broke records by filling up the Dome in South Africa.
The historic event attracted international recognition, and inspired local rapper Kast.
Kast announced that he too intends to fill up the stadium next year.
