Galaxy Hold Rollers

Rollers’ lead has been trimmed to just one point after second-placed Orapa United beat Gaborone United 1-0 on Saturday.

The dour draw left Rollers coach, Mark Harrison disappointed as his side dropped two vital points in the title chase.

“We have a four weeks break, but we dominated the second half. We created enough chances but dropped two points, which is disappointing. We have 12 games left and we feel no pressure at all,” Harrison said.

Rollers had a midseason tour of South Africa where they played a number of practice matches against top ABSA Premiership sides.

Galaxy coach, Philani Mabhena although not happy with the draw, was satisfied with the point picked against the pace setters.

“It was a difficult game, but both teams had chances in the second half. We have a problem with match fitness.

We are eyeing fresh players like Thero Seitsile and Isaac Bayei of Sankoyo. A draw is a positive move. We got a point from the log leaders but on the negative, we failed to take advantage of home ground,” Mabhena said.

There were a few clearcut chances with Segolame Boy sending his effort high in the fifth minute before Joel Mogorosi reacted slowly to a pass in the 23rd minute. Kabelo Dambe almost gifted the home side the lead after his misdirected kick was nearly punished.
