Legwaila said in an interview has said that MNet has set no dates for auditions as yet.

“There are no dates, there has been no official confirmation that there will even be a show this year, until MNet does so at this point there is no BBA,” she confirmed.

The show was cancelled last year at the 11th hour allegedly because of lack of funds.

The show had suffered a downward spiral in popularity over the years.

Season eight also had to be delayed after the structure caught fire. The structure burnt down to ashes, forcing the show to relocate.

Season nine aired in 2014 but season 10 was cancelled the following year.

This year could have been the show’s season 10.

But MultiChoice Legwaila has not ruled out the possibility that the show may return this year.

“It’s not completely off the radar.

Normally around this time of the year auditions should have began, but because of the misfortunes they have been having over the years it is never consistent,” she explained.

Our last reps on the show Sheillah Molelekwa and Goitseone Kgaswane, although among the popular housemate, were voted off the show in the final rounds.

Molelekwa has since ventured into music, performing at several shows around the country including the famous Mascom Live Sessions.

Kgaswane has also being spotted at MCing around events in the country; she also recently released her debut single Shetla.
