This year the organisers have chosen a theme that centres on family, ‘Tshomarelo ngwao go ya Dikokomaneng’.
Speaking to Showbiz yesterday, Orange’s Mosarwa Molema said that this year’s edition will be most exciting because Orange has just undergone a brand refresh exercise.
“We had to change the look and feel of Orange Letlhafula, we recently turned 18 years since we first opened doors in Botswana and the cultural fest had to align itself with the celebrations,” he said.
He added: “The fest is really about food, dance and song, as much as it is to remind ourselves of the harvest season that was widely celebrated back in the day.”
The event, which has become a hit amongst locals having been sold out for the past three years, will once again feature main dishes from various tribes in Botswana.
The masses are usually dressed to impress in cultural gear. Last year it was Dr Vom who closed the show in style with his famous trademark song, Tsaya Thobane.
