The team signed midfielders, Lesego Galenamotlhale and Dirang Moloi on Friday much to the delight of their supporters.
The two players arrived at a time when Gunners had lost a couple of key players, amongst them Brian Mankanku and Baokeditse Talane. Galenamotlhale was recently linked with a return to Mochudi Centre Chiefs as they seek to make a quick return to the Premier League.
Moloi on the other hand parted ways with Gaborone United (GU) after his contract expired at the end of last season. The two midfield maestros are expected to give Gunners shape as Stanley Mwaanga and Pontsho Moloi try to build a formidable side.
Another Premier League side that made a last minute key signing is Gilport Lions. Gunners’ cross-town rival acquired the services of midfielder, Gape Mohutsiwa for the coming season. The former Township Rollers player recently signed a contract with ambitious South African side, TS Galaxy together with Mosha Gaolaolwe and Thero Setsile. The club has since loaned him back to Gilport Lions although he was recently linked with Jwaneng Galaxy.
Notwane were amongst the busiest sides in the just ended transfer window with the addition of Boyo Lechaena, Lungisani Fanyana, Gift Mwaorere and Kudzani Machazani amongst others. The club also managed to retain midfielder, Amos Godirwang who recently renewed his contract. With the new signings, Toronto will be hoping for a top eight finish after meeting their target last season of surviving relegation.
