Gaborone�s tallest skyscraper complete

iTowers South, which is now the tallest building in the country was built at a cost of around P200 million. With 90% of the scheme pre-sold, promoters of the project say there are only a limited number of units still available for purchase.
 iTowers South, which is predominantly residential, boasts amenities in the form of underground parking, double access control at entrance points and reception, fully-fitted and air-conditioned units, laundry and maid services, as well as discounted gym membership for purchasers.
Fifty-four of the units will house luxury serviced apartment offering while the remaining units include studios, three-bedroom apartments and three-penthouses. Initially designed as a 27-storey high building, the residential structure was increased by three more floors due to strong demand for apartments. The 30th level will house a conference centre and restaurant and with a 360-degree view of Gaborone city. At an event held recently purchasers, prospective purchasers and consultants were treated to a sneak peek of the new tower. The new iTowers South is adjacent to the first 19-storey tower, iTowers North that was completed three years ago. The 15-storey BDC headquarters at Fairgrounds is the third tallest building in the capital.
 iTowers North is mixed use, but predominantly commercial with most of the building being taken up by office space.
ITowers was developed through a partnership between the developers Tredinnick Botswana and ODE while Real Estate Company, Appleby’s is responsible for the sale and letting of space in the buildings.
