The 20-year-old arrived in the country this week after impressing the Kelvedon and Feering technical team, which is willing to sign him for next season. The new season starts in April 2017.

“After playing a number of games for the club, the coaches were impressed and they stated that they want to sign me for the upcoming season. I am yet to sit down with the Botswana Cricket Association (BCA) board who have the report from the English side. It is up to the board to decide if I should return to England,” Tshose said.

Tshose played 11 games as a bowling all rounder, taking 11 wickets and registering a high score of 95 with the bat.

“Personally I would love to go back and play for the club next season. I am just hoping the BCA board will agree on Kelvedon and Feering signing me,” said the national team player.

Tshose’s coach in England, Martin Griffiths previously told Mmegi Sport that he was impressed by the player’s fielding technique.

Tshose said he learnt a lot during his two-month stint, as he believes that he is now a better player than he was before he left the country to join the Essex-based side.

He noted that in his early days in England, it was a bit difficult due to the weather. Tshose was the only African player at Kelvedon and Feering.

Tshose will now re-join the BCA development coaches where he will work with primary school players.
