Bright in the dark over Dynamos link

Reports in Zimbabwe have linked the much travelled coach, who has had stints in South Africa, with a move to the Harare giants. “I always listen to (prophet) Bushiri and may be this is one of the miracles. I have not heard anything from them. They have not approached me,” Bright said when contacted yesterday. “Right now, I am committed to Morupule Wanderers even though I am not contracted, I am just helping. If a big offer comes, I will not hesitate to take, I am a typical professional coach,” he said.

Yesterday, Zimbabwe media linked Bright with the Dynamos job as the Zimbabwe side search for a change of fortunes following an indifferent season. Dynamos, Zimbabwe’s most successful club, is fifth and what might force them to ring technical changes is their Sunday loss to bitter rivals, Highlanders.

Coach, Llyod Mutasa’s job was left hanging by a thread but Dynamos chairperson, Kenny Mubaiwa claimed he does not even know Bright. “I have not heard of the name you are mentioning but like any ambitious institution, if results are not coming changes are bound to be made and we shall make them,” Mubaiwa told the state owned daily, The Chronicle. Bright has had successful stints with Santos in South Africa as well as Mogoditshane Fighters at home, while he almost took the Under-23 side to the 2012 Olympic Games.
