Also known as Pitse tsa Naga, the couple have stuck by each other and embarked on a journey of lending a helping hand to the less fortunate. Boikhutso Shawe and Lyndon  Mothusi have been doing a great job since grabbing the title in 2014.

Continuing with their quest to care for the needy, yesterday Mothusi and Pitse Tsa Naga Collaboration, where the couple partners with upcoming and some of the local artists who have not been able to grow in the local music industry donated P1,500 to the late soccer legend Lesego Morake’s sole heir Atang Morake in Gaborone.

“After hearing that Lesego had a kidney problem last year, we decided to seek donations at Jesus Christ Healing Church to raise funds for his medical procedure that was supposed to be done in China. Unfortunately, he died in a road accident and we have been keeping the funds in our bank account,” Mothusi said.

He further promised to take care of Lesego’s son, Atang. who is also an upcoming artist and part of Pitse Tsa Naga Collaboration artists expressed his gratitude towards the trust. Atang, said he was privileged to be part of the Pitse tsa Naga beneficiaries.

The other artists who are under the trust are Flexy, Danger T, B1, Malakista, Sheleng, Dr Kuffour, Dr Flynne, Jeff Malaba, Letso-O-Mataka, Genevieve, Pongo Rista, Morolong Sebini, Kabo Matlho, Ragga Muffin, Black Queen, Shwan Ramsay among others.

“Pitse Tsa Naga have decided to give these isolated artists exposure that they deserve,” Mothusi said.

Furthermore, he explained that they were taking care of some football legends who were living with disabilities namely, Louis Teenage Tlhowe a former Mochudi Centre Chiefs and Flamingo Santos player who had heart complications, paralised his right and Tizza Sekhaphane who is a double amputee.

Mothusi said those men were abandoned by the public and had no friend nor family members to take care of them. We have decided to be their friends and family members. “We are buying these legends groceries, toiletries, fill their gas cylinders and visit them on occasional basis.

“We promise Batswana that we will continue with our social responsibilities if they can support us on the next Balekane Ba Botswana’s Mr and Miss Independence Districts beauty pageant where we will be competing with our peers from districts across the country. The pageant will be held at Tlotlo Hotel and Conference Centre on September 17.
