An authoritative report released on Monday by AfrAsia Bank and New World Wealth estimates that total individual wealth jumped 46% in value between 2008 and 2018.
The report does not identify individuals, the sectors or businesses they are involved in or their nationalities
The assessment, which excludes government funds, was aimed at estimating collective private net wealth by looking at assets such as property, cash, equities, and business interests, minus any liabilities.
In the list of 20, Botswana was ranked 19th with Israel last. The list topped by China whose private wealth grew the most in the last decade by 130%, followed by Mauritius with 124%.
