She disclosed that they planned to build a strong team while there was still time. “We are going around the country visiting different places; this is for us to build a relationship with members of the community and again to make them aware that netball still existed. With this, we are trying to build the team’s confidence and engage the spirit of motivation at the same time and recruit those talents at remote areas,” Raditladi said.
She said the national team is currently in camp preparing for the African Union Sports Council (AUSC) 2020 games to be held in Lesotho. She said the team’s performance has been plummeting and are currently working on reviving it.
She added that existing clubs should help foster new ways of growing the sport. The team will conduct a cleaning campaign in Mmadinare this Thursday while they interact with members of the community and sensitise them about the sport.
