Another BNSC director quits

His final day at the office was last Friday.  

Bothasitse becomes the second director to resign from BNSC after Kearabetswe Galebotse who was director, Lands and Facilities. 

Bothasitse told Mmegi Sport that his contract was renewed, but he decided to quit.

“My contract was renewed, but I turned it down.  BNSC is going through a restructuring process and it is taking a long time, which has brought uncertainty to the staff.  The process started last year and was to be completed by December 2018.  But the mood remains the same at BNSC,” he said.

Bothasitse joined BNSC in October 2013 on a five-year contract. He was part of the task team for the second Africa Youth Games as chief operations officer and recently at the Region 5 Youth Gaborone 2018 was the general manager. 

“I have learnt a lot from BNSC and I have grown professionally. If an opportunity avails itself, I would go back,” he said.

Bothasitse has moved to JB Sports as general manager-sports division.
