Two men accused of defiling same minor

In the first case, the State alleges that Kabelo Otsetswe, 19, defiled the then 14-year-old during a date unknown to the prosecution in 2017 at Kgaphamadi location.
In the second case, the State also alleges that Thabo Thatayaone defiled the minor at Kgaphamadi during a date unknown to the prosecution at the same location.
When asked by Magistrate Cele Lebakeng where he met the minor, Otsetswe said he met her along one of the streets at Kgaphamadi.
Both Otsetswe and Thatayaone were granted bail on conditions that they each bind themselves with P500 and each bring two relatives who shall bind themselves with P500.
They are expected to report themselves at Tatitown Police Station every Monday, do not commit any crime whilst on bail and attend court as and when required to do so.
The accused, who were not asked to take plea, will appear in court for mention on April 8. Moatlhodi Macheng appeared for the State in the matters while the accused told the court that they would conduct their own defences.
