Rollers, Miscellaneous Share Spoils

The game started with Popa pilling pressure on Miscellaneous and they were rewarded with a penalty in the ninth-minute after Dikaelo Poulwe blocked the ball with his hand. Joel Mogorosi stepped up, but Miscellaneous goalkeeper, Kealeboga Bophelo saved his shot.
Tse Nala played too deep most of the first half and struggled to visit Rollers’ goal posts. Rollers on the other hand kept pushing forward.
They tried to add more power on the attack and replaced Lemponye Tshireletso with Gofaone Tiro to change tactic.
The former Santos sensation had an immediate impact and forced a save from Bophelo with a hard and low shot minutes after hitting the pitch. Mponang Mponang also forced Mwampule Masule to make a save with a powerful strike.
Miscellaneous came to the party in the second half and both pushed numbers up front in the dying minutes, but their efforts failed to turn chances into goals.
Miscellaneous coach, Russia Chaba said they were happy with the draw.
“Rollers is a very big team and gaining a draw away against them is an achievement. That point will work for us,” he said. Chaba went on to say that he is happy with the way his players followed his instructions as the initial plan was to play Rollers behind the ball and try to catch Rollers on counterattacks.
Rollers supporters seemed not happy with the draw and followed their coach Mark Harrison to the bus.
He said he was disappointed with how his team played.
“We missed a penalty in the first 10 minutes and had two glorious chances in the first 20 minutes. We did not show desire on capitalising on chances and that is very disappointing,” Harrison said.
