Last week the musician had announced that he will be launching the album titled Malebeswa in Jwaneng and other areas outside Gaborone.
“We are still working on the preparations for the Jwaneng launch. In the meantime we will debut the album in Gaborone. Once everything is done we will launch the album in Jwaneng.
We couldn’t just stay without staging any performance so we have scheduled one for Valentine’s day at the Stanbic Bank Piazza,” said Lizibo.
He noted that he will perform 70% of the musical content in the album and simultaneously the album will be sold at a discount price during the performance.
“I will be performing with a live band. It will be an interactive night since it’s a Valentine’s day.
Most of my acts will be soulful and sensual since it’s a night of love. I will start with a build-up performance singing some of my old songs till I get into the groove of the new album,” he said.
He noted that he will be joined by rapper, Mosako who is featuring on one of the tracks in the new album. “It’s unfortunate that some of the guys I featured will be engaged at other events. I wanted them to be part of this event,” said the soulful musician.
Lizibo noted that after the Gaborone launch he will take the album to Palapye for a performance and launch. In the meantime he is in talks with people in Maun, Orapa and Francistown where he is planning to launch the album.
